Cold Weather, Cozy Looks

As El Nino makes its way to a usually sunny So Cal, and NYC is its typical frigid self, the need for amazing knit pieces is still very much present. Well shiver no longer, our Wuko Sweater Dress is your staple cold-weather style.

When designing this look, we aspired to create a seasonal dress that could could transition you seamlessly into the warmer months. The neckline of our sweaterdress keeps you warm and effortlessly chic. Featuring a cowl neck, long sleeve, and fitted hem, the silhouette is elegant and minimal.

Fabric choice was key for this dress. We selected a warm sweater knit that wasn't too heavy. It still shows off your figure without adding extra bulk. Its extremely breathable as well, so you can attend to your busy life without breaking a sweat. We rolled this one out in two amazing tones. A beautiful cream with a subtle textured feel, and a simplistic navy check are colors to majorly update your wardrobe.

While of course the Sweaterdress looks stunning solo with a simple pair of flats or boots, the weight of the fabric makes it a key layering piece as well! The beauty of the dress is that you can rock it whether the temperature rises or falls.

When life gets chilly, throw a leather jacket or wool coat on. Grab your favorite beanie and chunky circle scarf for a look that's sophisticated yet snugly. Fashion tights, try a knitted pattern or fun color (jewel-tones are best), plus your favorite pair of winter boots complete the look.  You are ready to face the cold in style!

As we move towards spring, and warmer temps, (at least on the west coast), you can still make the layered look work. Vests are your best friend with this look, they give some depth to your ensemble without making you overheat! A sleek cross body can easily be draped over your shoulder as well. Grab your favorite sunnies and slip on chic boots or flats, and seamlessly transition into next season!
