Swerve Style

Styling the Swerve

Charcoal, crimson, military, and plum…which color will you choose? Can you even pick just one? The Swerve is a great option if you like the cut and fit of the tunic. Its loose silhouette is universally flattering; it looks great on just about every body type. Wear it loose or define the waist with a fabulous belt, you can’t go wrong! The asymmetrical hem also gives an updated twist to a great closet staple. Feel free to knot the bottom to change it up too. You can get so much mileage out of the swerve!

Although the Swerve is always seasonally appropriate with its lightweight fabric and great color palette, it really is THE perfect fall dress. The longer length and looser fit is great for layering with tights, especially on those chilly fall days. Textured, patterned, bright, or neutral, you can really go wild here because only a small portion of the tights will be showing. Why not try something new? This dress also looks best with ankle boots or oxfords, because of its longer length.

In order to wear your swerve throughout the year, it’s important to layer. Add a structured jacket and a bold belt to balance out the billowy silhouette, or add a denim jacket for a more casual look. An oversized blanket scarf will keep you both cozy and chic on those cold fall days.

Now you know how to style it, which color will you pick?

Charcoal is perfect if you want an alternative to black but are nervous about branching out into brighter colors. It has an edgy feel and looks sharp with a blazer, black tights and black ankle boots.

Crimson is a great pop of color for fall. The vibrant hue is bright and cheerful and a statement in and of itself. You don’t really need a ton of accessories to be a standout in this dress. It’s also a great color to seamlessly dress up or down.

Military is a beautiful and a surprisingly flattering color. The earth tone is great for fall and a nice option if you want something more on the neutral side. This dress looks great with either black or brown tones paired with it as well.

Plum is an absolutely gorgeous jewel tone, and looks great on just about every skin color. It’s an unexpected color for fall, but quite wearable. The color is daring and bold and turns heads!

Be bold with your fall style and go with the swerve!
